TAR Statuses
A TAR can have multiple statuses. Below, you will find an overview of all possible statuses.
Your TAR is OK and will be accepted at terminal.
Your TAR is not OK and will not be accepted at terminal.
If one of the below applies your TAR will not be OK:
- Pick up import container is not at terminal
- Pick up import container has a red customs status
- Pick up import container is blocked by terminal
- Pick up import container has no commercial release
- Pick up import container is not assigned
- Pick up container has no release
The TAR was successfully used at the terminal, and the driver has gated in but has not yet gated out.
No changes to the TAR are possible after TAR status is ‘Gate In’.
The TAR was successfully used at terminal and the driver has gated in and out.
The TAR was not used within the valid time.
The TAR was cancelled by the truck operator.
Status ‘Aborted’ means that a terminal intervention was needed after status ‘Gate In’.
Examples:
- When the driver inserted the wrong plate number
- Overlap between driver input and change on MPET Connect
A TAR needs to be aborted so a new appointment can be made for that same reference or container.
A TAR will get status ‘Needs Changes’ when you need to amend your appointment.
This status is applicable in the following scenarios:
- When a TAR was OK but DCD is changed to a date in the future, the TAR will get status ‘needs changes’.
- Exception: The TAR code will remain OK when the chosen timeslot is within 24h.
- Drop off reference was deleted by carrier. A valid reference is needed to enter the terminal.
- When you have a TAR for multiple containers and one of the containers changes to another quay/gatezone, you will need to change your TAR.
