Truck Timeslot Capacity Overview
To meet the needs of the trucking community, we now show a truck timeslot capacity chart with a clear overview of timeslot occupancy throughout the week. By displaying capacity utilization as a percentage per timeslot, users can quickly identify peak periods and monitor how capacity evolves over time.
This new visualization replaces the previous Historical Truck Visits view and offers a more intuitive way to monitor truck appointment capacity and anticipated demand.
Color-coded indicators highlight timeslots with higher utilization, making it easier to spot periods with limited availability and plan truck visits more efficiently. Users can switch between terminals K1718 and K1742 and click on a specific day to open a larger, more detailed view of the capacity chart.
Late Change Fee
MPET Connect now provides additional visibility into Late Change Fees applied to truck appointments.
When a fee is charged due to a modification outside the free cancellation period, the fee is clearly displayed during the appointment confirmation process. Users can hover over the information icon next to the fee to view the exact timestamp at which the Late Change Fee was triggered.
This enhancement provides a clear audit trail of appointment changes and helps users better understand when and why additional charges were incurred.
OAuth2 Token Request Endpoint
MPET Connect now supports OAuth 2.0 authentication for API integrations.
A dedicated OAuth 2.0 token endpoint has been introduced, allowing applications to securely obtain access tokens and authenticate against MPET Connect APIs. The endpoint is fully documented and available in the MPET Connect Swagger environment.
The introduction of OAuth 2.0 provides a modern and standardized authentication mechanism, enabling more secure and scalable API integrations.
OAuth 2.0 is offered as an additional option and is not mandatory. Existing integrations can continue using the current token authentication method without any changes.
Pickup Blocking reason displayed
To improve visibility during and after appointment creation, MPET Connect now displays the exact reason why a container is not yet ‘Pickup Ready’.
When a pickup of a container is blocked/red, users can hover over the status indicator to view the specific reasons that are preventing the container from being collected. Depending on the container status, one or more of the following reasons may be displayed:
- Not discharged
- No terminal release
- No commercial release
- Not customs released
- Not assigned
This additional transparency helps users quickly identify what action is still required before a container becomes available for pickup.
