Live Truck Parking Occupancy overview
MPET Connect now provides a renewed Live Truck Parking Occupancy overview, offering a more accurate representation of the current traffic situation at the terminal parking zones.
Parking occupancy is now determined based on the average truck turnaround time, calculated from the moment a truck enters the terminal until the moment it exits through the gate. Every 15 minutes, a new occupancy measurement is calculated using data from the previous hour, ensuring that the displayed status reflects the most recent operational situation.
Each parking area is assigned a clear occupancy status:
- Normal: average turnaround time below 45 minutes
- Busy: average turnaround time between 46 and 75 minutes
- Very Busy: average turnaround time above 76 minutes
By hovering over an occupancy block, users can view the underlying average turnaround time used to determine the displayed status. This provides additional transparency and helps transport companies better prepare and plan their terminal visits.
